She is a veteran herself and knows how hard it can be for these heroes to ask for help.So every Saturday, beginning May 2 through May 16, her organization is hosting a drive-thru food giveaway for veterans and active-duty military who need help. We have complete meals. We have side items. We have snacks. We have toiletries. We even have cat and dog food. Our community has come out in full support of our veterans, and I couldn t be more thankful, says Mull.It is open to military veterans with ID cards. The Patriot Pantry will even deliver a food box to a veteran unable to leave their home. The organization also accepts donations Tuesday through Thursday from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. They need non-perishable food, dog and cat food, and toiletries.The food giveaway is Saturdays from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. at 138 N.
