ZLINE is expanding a recall of 30,000 gas ranges to provide consumers the option of a replacement range or refund.Recalled in January, the gas stoves may emit dangerous levels of carbon monoxide mdash; a colorless, odorless gas mdash; when in use, putting consumers at risk of serious injury o stanley cup r death from carbon monoxide poisoning, according to anoticeposted by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.Common symptoms of carbon monoxidepoisoning include headache, dizziness, weakness, upset stomach, vomiting, chest pain, and confusion. Breathing in high levels of carbon monoxide can cause you to pass out and may be fatal. ZLINE, a family-owned company based in the U.S., issued this latest recall expansion after attempts to repair the gas ranges proved unsuccessful. After the recall was announced, ZLINE received 131 reports that the repair stanley cup was not completed successfully and that the ranges were still emitting dangerous levels of carbon monoxide, the CPSC notice stated. Manufactured in China, the recalled ranges were sold in three sizes: 30 inches, 36 inches and 48 inches, the recall notice shows. Consumers can identify their unit s model number by checking a label stanley cup on the back of the gas range, according to the manufacturer.Consumers of affected ranges should immediately stop use of the gas oven compartment and contact the manufacturer for a free inspection, replacement range or refund, the CPSC said. NEW YORK mdash;F reebok ederal authorities say an immigration detainee about to be deported to Senegal escaped custody at New York s John F. Kennedy International Airport and fled in a taxi. A spokesman for Immigration and Customs Enforcement says Mohamadou Lamine Mbacke was in the custody of ICE agents at the airport Tuesday night when he escaped. Port Authority officialstell CBS New York it was around 8:30 p.m. when he arrived at the airport and was supposed to be put on a connecting flight at Terminal 4. The station reports his handcuffs were taken off and he was put through X-ray screening when he somehow managed to get away from agents. af1 Law enforcement officials tell the station they have him on surveillance camera getting into a cab outside the terminal. ICE says Mbacke entered the country lawfully in 2005 before violating the terms of his status. Mbacke was ordered deported in September 2015. ICE spokesman Khaalid Walls says the 31-year-old Mbacke has criminal convictions for weapons offenses. He is described as a violent deportee, reports CBS New York. Walls says Mbacke remains at large Wednesday.Officials say there is no threat to the airport.
