WMTV An army reservist is making music once again after a Wisconsin company gave him a generous gift.Matt Miller s beloved trumpet was stolen from his truck on Veteran s Day in Milwaukee. Miller stanley flask had the trumpet throughout his tour in Iraq, and even played it at funerals for his fellow soldiers.Heartbroken, Miller scoured pawn shops and stanley water bottle websites trying to find his horn, but came up empty-handed.That s when Getzen Company in Elkhorn decided to help. They manufacture musical instruments, and are in the process of making several new trumpets to vaso stanley celebrate their 80th anniversary next year. The jury deciding the fate of Dominique Heaggen-Brown deliberated for about five hours Tuesday, but they havent reached a verdict.The former Milwaukee police officer is on trial for reckless homicide in the death ofSylvilleSmith, the shooting that led to last summer s violence in Sherman Park.The jury listened to final arguments Tuesday from both sides and it s going to come down to the second of two shots fired. No one disputes the first one when Smith had a gun, but that gun went over stanley cup the fence. The defense argued self-defense and the state said it was excessive force.The jury will now decide if the former Milwaukee p stanley cup olice officer is guilty of first-degree reckless homicide. You must first consider whether the defendant is guilty of that offense, said Judge Jeffrey Conen.If the jury can t come to a unanimous decision, they can consider a lesser charge of second-degree reckless homicide.
