A Maryland Transportation Authority police officer was arrested and charged with theft from the FOP Lodge where he was once president.Baltimore County Police said Cpl. Shane Schapiro, 36, was charged with theft from $10,000 to under $100,000. He turned himself in Wednesday afternoon and was released on $10,000 bail.Schapiro was once president of the FOP Lodge 34 in Middle River, which represents MdTA officers, police said.Police said there were discrepancies while Schapiro was president and the union brought the matter to county pol stanley us ice and prosecutors stanley cup .Authority police spokesman 1st Sgt.
